EDUCATORS

Our Signature Educational Model is the only program to meet Florida Statute 1003.42 (G) standards and benchmarks for Holocaust studies. Students participating in the full catalog of age-appropriate lessons throughout their education will meet 100% of the standards and benchmarks before graduation.

Available throughout Florida and the United States through our Learning Management System (LMS), the Holocaust Learning Experience provides turnkey lessons from the Holocaust focused on enhancing civic duty, civility and compassion.

We have designed grade-appropriate classroom lessons to supplement and augment the developed curriculum in grades 5-12. Our platform will reach urban, suburban, and rural school districts to allow every student to engage in a lesson.

Our Signature Educational Model offers supplemental learning experiences, which align with Florida’s Statute, mandating Holocaust instruction, and can be aligned with other state mandates.

TEACHING about TOLERANCE and KINDNESS
plants the seeds for a brighter future.

Bullying, cyberbullying, hate speech, and physical attacks are rising in our nation’s public and private schools and universities. As a caring, informed community, we must be able to recognize and confront bigotry wherever we recognize it…and educate and cultivate generations of upstanders by providing them with effective tools, diffusing and unifying talking points, and appropriate action opportunities.

OUR APPROACH

The LESSONS FROM THE HOLOCAUST
are universal and timeless.

It is through our pre-recorded lessons and Holocaust Survivor Testimonies that stories and history come alive, we forge connections with each other despite our differences, and we come to understand the true meaning of a caring community.

Examples of lesson topics include:

  • The dangers of bullying

  • How to manage peer pressure
  • The importance of active listening skills
  • Diversity and embracing our differences
  • Appropriate responses to the language of hate
  • How much is six million?
  • Decisive moments in history
  • The importance of annual remembrance days
  • Keeping the promise NEVER TO FORGET

Our Signature Educational Model engages students from 5th grade through 12th grade in age-appropriate lessons.

The Holocaust is a powerful lesson in what happens when people fail to recognize and oppose intolerance and hate, whether bullying on the playground, using the language of prejudice, or discrimination in sports, business, and neighborhoods. Moreover, learning the LESSONS FROM THE HOLOCAUST through a historical lens teaches children about the real-life danger and ramifications of remaining silent as bystanders when they see other people being harmed, oppressed, or canceled in today’s culture.

Our lessons are designed to develop and enhance students’ empathy, appreciation of diversity, decision-making, and communication skills.

As the memory of the Holocaust fades, Holocaust education is the most powerful antidote to ignorance and intolerance. The Holocaust Learning Experience welcomes young and old participants of all heritages and religions to experience this engaging programming.

Studying the Holocaust provides opportunities to inspire students with stories of courage, overcoming adversity, resilience, and compassionate behavior.
